Pedrerol Points to Ancelotti After the Defeat and Publicly Explodes: 'let Him Leave...'
The well-known host of 'El Chiringuito' dedicated a message to Carlo Ancelotti after the match
Real Madrid, which absolutely needed the three points to stay in the fight for LaLiga, played one of its worst matches. Despite the initial goal by Brahim Díaz, Real Betis ended up coming back with subsequent goals from Jonnhy Cardoso and Isco Alarcón.
The afternoon began with a decision that caused some debate among Madridists. In a crucial and highly tense match, Carlo Ancelotti chose David Alaba as a starter, leaving Asencio on the bench.
The Real Madrid youth player didn't play even a single minute. Based on what was seen during the match, it seemed that the Spaniard was the most suitable option to lead Madrid's defense at Benito Villamarín. However, Carlo Ancelotti decided that today was not going to be his evening.

Raúl Asencio, Benched for Rest
Many don't quite understand why Raúl Asensio was relegated to the bench against Real Betis. However, Ancelotti explained to the player that his benching was solely due to a matter of "rotation" and the desire to give Alaba some minutes.
According to reports from 'Defensa Central', at no point was it a decision related to punishments or incidents that occurred in San Sebastián. So, it seems clear that the Italian coach opted to rest a Raúl Asensio who had been standing out in recent matches.
However, the choice didn't work out entirely well for Carlo Ancelotti, who opted for David Alaba and Antonio Rudiger. Both were uncomfortable on the field, and even the German showed some signs of physical discomfort.
What Is Josep Pedrerol's Opinion?
After the match, Josep Pedrerol wrote a message on his official 'X' profile. The renowned host of 'El Chiringuito', like many Madridists, couldn't understand Asencio's benching.
"Leaving Asencio on the bench is something no one understands," he commented. Additionally, the journalist also left another message directed at Carlo Ancelotti in the previous minutes. "Madrid is losing and he takes off Mbappe..." he noted.
Undoubtedly, we will have to be alert to Carlo Ancelotti's decision regarding Asencio for the match against Atlético de Madrid.
