Real Madrid's Plan B if Alexander-Arnold Renews with Liverpool

They Already Have an Alternative for the Right Back Due to the Doubts They Have

Real Madrid has set their sights on Alexander Arnold as a future signing for the right-back position. His contract with Liverpool ends on June 30, and signing him at no cost would be a great move. Additionally, it would help strengthen a position that is a long-term concern.

However, the fear that he might do the same as Davies and end up renewing has made them not remain idle. If Alexander Arnold backtracks and stays with the Reds, Real Madrid already has a Plan B. It involves Diogo Dalot, currently at Manchester United, whom they are closely monitoring.

Several English media outlets like TeamTalk are already pointing out the possibility of the Whites acquiring the Portuguese player. His performance at Old Trafford is appreciated, and they believe he could be a good alternative to Arnold. They are not ruling out his departure even this summer.

The Red Devils are willing to negotiate if a sufficiently interesting offer comes in for him. This is something Real Madrid values, seeing him as a good option at 25 years old. Additionally, his contract ends in 2027, so within a year, it could be even easier.

The Doubts Real Madrid Have About the Possible Signing of Alexander Arnold

During the second leg of the Champions League round of 16, alarms went off. Liverpool was eliminated by PSG, and Alexander Arnold left the field injured. This caused concern at Real Madrid about the severity.

However, this hasn't changed the plans they have to sign him this coming summer. His injury will sideline him for almost the rest of the season, but he would be fit for the Club World Cup. This has allowed the Whites to breathe easy.

Although the fear hasn't dissipated, in this case, because he might backtrack and decide to renew with Liverpool. This physical setback might mean he never wears the Reds' jersey again. A sad farewell that could make him change his mind.
