Possible line-up for Real Madrid to face Real Sociedad

After the international break, Real Madrid is getting back into the competitive rhythm of the 25/26 season. It is doing so with a very demanding league match, as preparation for the first Champions League game against Olympique de Marseille at Santiago Bernabéu stadium. That's why Xabi Alonso wants to have the best footballers he has available in the starting eleven.

The squad list for the match against the txuri-urdin sports team didn't seem to bring any news beyond the known absences of Jude Bellingham, Endrick, Eduardo Camavinga, and Ferland Mendy. However, the events of the afternoon, after the last training session before the trip to Donostia, brought the worst possible news: Antonio Rüdiger suffered a serious injury to his left knee.

This condition, from which he seemed fully recovered, is causing problems again for the veteran German defender, who was seen as an important footballer for Xabi Alonso in the rotations. Indeed, the Tolosa coach wants to avoid having his main center-backs arrive very tired at the end of the season. Aside from those five injury absences, Real Madrid doesn't have any players suspended for disciplinary reasons.

Sergio Francisco is welcoming the league leader to his stadium with a very important task: to get all three points. After the two draws and the loss in the first three matchdays, Real Sociedad is very low in the standings with only two points earned. With no players absent for disciplinary reasons, Sergio Francisco will have three absences: Yangel Herrera, Óskarsson, and Umar Sadiq, with the latter working separately from the group.
