A Premier League forward linked with Real Madrid if Rodrygo leaves
Rodrygo Goes's possible departure could lead to the arrival of an interesting striker at Real Madrid
Rumors about Rodrygo Goes's future at Real Madrid keep circulating during this summer transfer window. Given the interest the Brazilian is generating from several teams, Real Madrid has been preparing in case he leaves. According to what we know at Defensa Central, if Rodrygo leaves Real Madrid, the club would sign Nicolas Jackson.
The Chelsea striker has had a rather interesting spell at the London club. While Real Madrid's most desired signing remains Erling Haaland, signing him is very complicated. From his contract to his market value, Real Madrid isn't willing, for now, to make an effort for the Norwegian striker.
Although Real Madrid hasn't made any moves for Jackson yet, it is keeping a close eye on the player's situation. At 24 years old, his signing would add depth to the squad. Moreover, given his experience, Jackson would be a smart transfer considering the doubts surrounding Endrick and Gonzalo.
Real Madrid's option
Signed in 2023 for €37 million, Nicolas Jackson has stood out at Chelsea. In 81 matches played wearing the "blue" jersey, the Senegalese striker has scored 30 goals and provided 12 assists. This is a more than acceptable performance that has kept him as a relevant player at the English club.

With a contract until 2033, his transfer could be a problem because of this. Moreover, with a value of €50 million according to Transfermarkt, not many clubs would make a move for him. This, certainly, isn't the case for Real Madrid.
Although Rodrygo's destination hasn't been decided, one of the interested clubs is Chelsea. This opens the door for the white club to negotiate a good deal for the striker. His experience in LaLiga due to his past at Villarreal gives him more points to wear white.
Next season's attack
For now, there are few strikers who have a secure future at Real Madrid. With time still left before the end of the transfer window, Rodrygo can make a decision at any moment. Even though the option to stay is still on the table, Xabi's lack of trust raises doubts about this.
