Rayo Vallecano's President Points to Bellingham for the Red Card at El Sadar

The surprising words Bellingham has received from Rayo Vallecano's president

The red card that Jude Bellingham received at Sadar will continue to make headlines. Especially after the two-match suspension that the Disciplinary Committee has imposed on the Englishman was announced. However, not everyone sees it the same way, as opinions have shown, like the words spoken by Rayo Vallecano's Raúl Presa.

"You must have respect for authority, that's for sure," were his words on the matter. Despite acknowledging the controversy, Presa surprised by siding with Munuera Montero. Instead of commenting on the unfairness of the expulsion and the lack of reasons behind this decision, the president of Rayo has defended the controversial refereeing.

"You must have respect for everyone," he added to express his opinion on Bellingham's "fuck off". While it is understandable that he seeks respect in all matches, this situation is particular. With Munuera Montero expelling Bellingham for hearing words that were never spoken, it is evident that the problem was the refereeing.

Raúl Presa Takes the Opportunity to Attack Madrid

Refereeing in Spanish soccer has always been a topic that has caused much discussion. Shining due to the constant controversies it provides season after season, several clubs have been affected by incomprehensible decisions. Despite it being proven that Bellingham never insulted the referee, Montero still chose to expel him.

A rather controversial decision that, nonetheless, has been defended by Raúl Presa, arguing that Montero deserves respect. Although it is understandable that referees should not be disrespected, this situation calls for a different opinion. It seems that he wanted to take the opportunity to attack Real Madrid.

By defending Munuera Montero's decision, Raúl Presa has done nothing but disrespect Real Madrid. The team has always stood out for its values, so questioning the respect toward the referee is an offense to the institution.

Another Disrespect to Real Madrid

These statements only make clear the evident disrespect that Real Madrid has been receiving. For a team that has always led by example, the position that several people have taken against it is inexplicable.
