El Clásico Prices Rise: Barcelona - Real Madrid in Copa del Rey
The Copa Clásico Has a Price Increase for the Grand Final and the Reasons Are Clear
It's normal to think that, when in the presence of the best team in the world, there might be details that not everyone likes. This seems to be the case when it comes to the prices for the Copa del Rey final. Something that will be an unbelievable event to watch in a new final between two classic rivals like these.
However, there is an attendance of a little over 26,000 at La Cartuja for each fanbase. Right now, it's being considered that tickets could range between €72 and €270, a considerable increase from last season, which ranged from €40 to €220. While this seems to be a negative point, the reality is that this happens due to an increase in the overall capacity.

The total number of tickets that can be allocated to both fanbases, both Madridists and Culers, represents only 40% of the overall capacity. Additionally, with the removal of the athletics track, more than 65,000 spectators can now enjoy this match with better views.
It Has Justification
While it's true that for many this could be a more than considerable increase for this final, the reality is that it's justified. The increase in the stadium's capacity will be an important point to cover the expenses of this match.
Logically, it's a considerable jump of almost double in terms of the lowest prices, going from €40 to €72. However, in the scheme of the most expensive tickets, the balance is no longer so exaggerated, with only a €50 increase.

The prices, compared to other matches like in the case of the Champions League, are not at all related and allow for more attendance. However, it remains a rather high investment for many, who still consider the prices excessive.
It Will Be a Great Match
Regardless of the ticket prices, we are sure it will be one of the best possible finals today. Therefore, it's logical to think that, in some way, this investment will be justified.
