PSG Knocks on the Door With €80 Million for One of the Season's Disappointments
The Parisian sports management is interested in signing this highly debated footballer
One of the footballers who hasn't performed as desired this season, beyond the continuously pointed out in the Madridist forward line, is in the midfield: Eduardo Camavinga. Since his arrival in Santiago Bernabéu locker room, the French stopper had become one of the best-performing footballers, slightly positioned outside the general trends.
But his consolidation as an option for Carlo Ancelotti, both in the midfield and at left-back, has caused him to be in the same position as his teammates. It hasn't been the best season for the first-team Merengue footballers, a bad streak that Eduardo Camavinga has suffered somewhat more than several of his fellow midfielders.

His 24/25 season, moreover, has ended on a negative note given the injury he currently has. His performance in the hard-fought match against Getafe, in which he intervened from halftime, ended sooner than expected due to a "complete rupture of the left adductor tendon".
This ailment leaves the Madridist '6' out of the final stretch of the current campaign. In addition to missing the Copa del Rey final against FC Barcelona, Eduardo Camavinga will be absent from the four remaining LaLiga 24/25 matches. Meanwhile, the interim coach chosen from the Valdebebas offices already knows that he won't count on the French pivot for the Club World Cup this summer.
We'll See What Happens
The position of Eduardo Camavinga is slightly disputed despite his good records since he became a Madridist player four seasons ago. So much so that, according to the information published by "Fichajes", he would have sparked the interest of several clubs in the European football elite. One of those offers for Camavinga would have made the first move to make his signing a reality.
The mentioned digital media states that PSG, led by Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, would have approached the Valdebebas offices with an offer of 80 million euros for Camavinga. This signing attempt hasn't yet prompted any response from the Merengue leaders, but it is expected to be immediately rejected.

Despite the complicated position in which Camavinga finds himself given his irregular performance this season, the white sports management considers him an essential player. Not only for what he has shown in previous seasons, but because he is expected to lead the future sports projects of the white club... along with other footballers like Tchouaméni, Arda Güler, and Endrick.
In addition to his privileged position in the first team, Real Madrid would rule out this operation due to the transfer figures. The offered transfer, about 80 million euros, seems insufficient for a footballer whose current market value is set at 70 million... and he has a contract with the Merengue squad until summer 2029, an exit barrier that would undoubtedly increase the figure demanded from his offers.
