Luka Modric's "10" is looking for a successor. At Real Madrid, there could be a very interesting jersey number shuffle. The two candidates to wear that number are Mbappé and Arda Güler.

Ramón Álvarez de Mon, a communicator with reliable information regarding Madrid, has revealed that the Frenchman will be the one to wear that number. Therefore, he would be reunited with it after wearing it at PSG. He is still wearing it for his country's national team. 

This decision is not surprising at all, because it's a marketing opportunity that Florentino Pérez usually doesn't let slip by. The president is certain that it's a tremendous option to sell the highest number of jerseys. It's no wonder, since he is one of the biggest stars in the squad managed by Xabi Alonso.

This news doesn't represent a "blow" for Arda Güler. The Turk is aware that he is still quite young and, therefore, has a long career ahead of him. If he keeps developing as he is now, he will have more opportunities to wear the "10". 

Meanwhile, he will have to settle for the "15", which he already had last season. The important thing, after all, is that he keeps up the progress he showed during Carlo Ancelotti's last months on the bench. Inside the club, they are optimistic in this regard and believe that he will keep developing very favorably.
