Ramón de Mon destroys the Barça press with a historic comeback

Ramón Álvarez de Mon delivers a tremendous 'zasca' to the Barça press over the Club World Cup

The culé press seems to have set out to start discrediting the Club World Cup. All of this because FC Barcelona will not be in it, just like Napoli and Liverpool won't be either.

From the Catalan city, they are selling the idea that it is not logical for the champions of the Spanish, Italian, and English leagues not to be there. However, that argument collapses under its own weight, as Ramón Álvarez de Mon has been able to show through X.

The communicator has replied to a publication by Mundo Deportivo in which they highlighted the absence of the champions of the three main leagues. However, as the protagonist of this news points out, the champions of the Champions League from the last five years will be in the World Cup. Thus, it is clear that the best European teams of this decade are going to participate.

The qualification methods to play in this World Cup were very clear, and Barça, despite what anyone may say, was not up to the task. The blue and red team made a fool of themselves in Europe for several seasons, and this has cost them the qualification. For example, Napoli also hasn't had any power in the Champions League in recent seasons.

They fear the worst

The fact that anti-Madridism already wants to downplay the Club World Cup means that many fear the worst. At Real Madrid, as it could not be otherwise, they completely ignore all these comments and face the competition with great enthusiasm. Florentino, meanwhile, has been emphasizing for some time how important it is for reputational and economic reasons.

What is clear is that Barcelona, Liverpool, and Napoli would give anything to participate in this tournament organized by FIFA. It is the first edition and will be held every four years. In the noble area of Chamartín, they are convinced that the clubs are going to take it very seriously.

It should not be forgotten that it will be Xabi Alonso's first contact with the squad. This, evidently, is quite an incentive.
