Ramón de Mon reveals Real Madrid's stance on Rodrygo, clashes with rumors

The first team's participation in the Club World Cup, with Xabi Alonso already established as coach, has left several conclusions and courses of action for the board of directors. One of the most notable is the one created around Rodrygo Goes, who is at the center of the main source of instability in this summer's transfer market.

It is precisely this amount, which has caused so much commotion in the European football elite, that Ramón Álvarez de Mon has referred to. In one of his latest posts on social media, the Real Madrid member has made "Real Madrid's position on the Rodrygo matter" very clear.

According to his sources, the executives led by Florentino Pérez are standing firm on that demand for €100 million as a transfer fee to let the "11" verdeamarelo leave. "If at any point he states that he wants to leave, he will be asked to bring an offer of at least €100 million", the journalist asserts.

He has two options

Those are not the only words he used in this message: "otherwise, play as well as possible at Madrid", Ramón Álvarez de Mon concludes. With that line, placed at the end of his post on social media platform X, the journalist contradicts most of the rumors heard so far about the South American player.

A large part of the comments made regarding Rodrygo's future point to the Osasco striker as a dispensable player, almost sidelined from the current pace of the merengue sports discipline. Nothing could be further from the truth, since Xabi Alonso counts on all the players who make up Santiago Bernabéu locker room.

It's just that the Madrid "11" will have to learn to live with the loss of his previous role as an undisputed starter and untransferable player. That is the major change that Real Madrid has recorded in the evolution of the saga caused around Rodrygo Goes, with the merengue team keeping an eye on any offer.

Because the merengue negotiators will not prevent the footballer from leaving, always for an amount close to or equal to €100 million. At the same time, they will not make an effort to offer him to other teams... given that his entourage, according to information from multiple sources, may have already taken on that task themselves.
