Just like with Toni Kroos last season, Real Madrid will lose strength in the midfield again with Luka Modric's departure. The Croatian, who had served as one of the leaders in this position for years, will leave Real Madrid at the end of the season. This has led Real Madrid to search for a replacement for Luka Modric.

The option that has gained the most traction is Vitinha, a midfielder from Paris Saint Germain. The Portuguese, since his arrival at PSG, has progressed in a more than remarkable way, currently being one of the best midfielders in the world. Cristiano Ronaldo himself, an absolute legend of Real Madrid, has recommended his signing to the club.

This is because Cristiano Ronaldo firmly believes that Vitinha would fit perfectly at Real Madrid. However, the major obstacle to this potential signing is a PSG that is not looking to part with any of its stars for the next season.

Being on par with a legend like Luka Modric is a challenge that few aspire to face. Playing 13 seasons with Real Madrid, Modric has left an indelible legacy in the team. While being Modric's replacement is a great burden, he has shown over the seasons to have no problem with the pressure.

At 25 years old and joining PSG in 2022, Vitinha has grown quite notably as a player. Under Luis Enrique's orders, Vitinha has managed to exploit his game, being one of the clear leaders of the Parisian club's midfield.

Playing 3,730 minutes this season, Vitinha has demonstrated his importance in a PSG where he is under contract until 2029. Although Cristiano Ronaldo is completely sure that Vitinha would be important at Real Madrid, his signing would not be easy at all.

With the bad relationship Real Madrid has with PSG after Mbappé's signing, the operation for Vitinha will be quite a challenge. Even so, Real Madrid has always been characterized by managing to succeed in operations that, initially, were thought to be impossible.
