Arbeloa to Castilla and Madrid already has a replacement, a former Madridist returns home
The former Madrid player who will return to Real Madrid following Álvaro Arbeloa's promotion
Just as Real Madrid will have several important changes, its youth academy won't be left behind. With Raúl González Blanco's departure as Castilla's coach, Real Madrid will appoint Álvaro Arbeloa as the new head of the squad. A move that will leave a gap in the academy to be filled by a prominent former Real Madrid player.
Julio Baptista, after several years since his farewell to Real Madrid, will return to take charge of the youth team. However, the big question that remains with his return is the category he will coach for the next season. For now, it is not at all clear that Baptista will lead Juvenil A, with the only certainty being his return to the team.

With options being Juvenil B or C, this situation will be solved soon after his return to Real Madrid. For now, Baptista's main goal is to continue the great work of Arbeloa and the other coaches of the lower categories.
Real Madrid's chosen replacement
Arriving at Real Madrid in 2005, Julio Baptista had his moments with the team before being loaned out. Having an extensive career, starting in 2000 and retiring in 2019, something that never changed was his love for Real Madrid. Always keeping his time at Real Madrid in mind, Baptista will finally be able to return to the team.
Having some experience as a coach from his time in the lower categories of Real Valladolid, Baptista will have the same role at Real Madrid. However, Baptista is aware that moving to the most important academy in the world is a huge leap.

After the achievements accomplished by Arbeloa, Baptista aims to keep and improve the high level of the squad he will coach. Although it is still unknown which team he will lead, Baptista is full of enthusiasm to succeed in this new stage for him.
Arbeloa's replacement
This change shows that, just like the first team, Real Madrid is taking care of preparing its youth academy. Faced with a season that will be full of challenges, Real Madrid hopes that Baptista can meet the expectations.
