Madrid Considers Transfering 2 Right Wings, Arnold and Another Serie A Star Player
The white club is still considering possibilities to improve Carlo Ancelotti's team
Real Madrid's focused on what it can control, so the goal is to win tonight at Santiago Bernabéu against Celta de Vigo.
Carlo Ancelotti doesn't want to know anything about transfers, at least publicly, so he maintains an ambiguous message in his latest statements.
"We haven't changed the idea. These are discussions we have with the club to try to have a competitive Real Madrid. Talking here about this topic, about what I discuss with the club, doesn't seem right to me," expressed the Italian coach in a press conference.
However, Florentino and José Ángel Sánchez are looking at different possibilities to strengthen the team, as they are particularly in need on the right flank.
Two wingers in sight
Real Madrid's main target is Trent Alexander-Arnold, whose contract with Liverpool ends on June 30.
The Brit hasn't extended his contract with the Reds, and all reports suggest it's imminent.
Additionally, the sports directors of the white club are also looking at Álex Jiménez, who is excelling with Milan.
The player trained at La Fábrica is gaining Conceição's trust, proving he's more than ready for the elite.
This could lead the merengue team to seek to sign him in the summer, as Lucas Vázquez, barring a last-minute surprise, won't continue at Bernabéu.
Álex Jiménez is highly valued at Real Madrid, so "recovering him" is a possibility within the merengue team.
Having the youth player and Trent Alexander-Arnold for the 2025-2026 season would complete the right wing replacement, always waiting to see how Dani Carvajal returns from his serious knee injury.
For now, these are the two operations Florentino and Sánchez are working on for the right-back position. But thinking about the summer, as it seems very complicated for either of them to be released by their clubs in this winter market.
