Real Madrid Could Face Barça up to Three More Times This Season

Both clubs could play up to three Clásicos by the end of the 2024/25 season

Real Madrid remains steadfast in the fight for LaLiga, the Champions, and the Cup, just as the season enters its most crucial phase. The merengue team is in a privileged position to aspire to achieve the first treble in its history. Additionally, they still have key players in their arsenal who haven't shown their full potential in recent matches.

It is surprising that, in an intense month of March, one of the names that has had the least prominence is Vinícius. The Brazilian has gone almost unnoticed in this key stretch of the season, although Madridists trust that he will return to his peak level.

Meanwhile, Barça is also still alive in all competitions, although in some they have much more chances than in others. In League, they share the lead with Real Madrid, but they still have to play the match against CA Osasuna in Montjuïc. Meanwhile, the culé team's path in the Champions is not extremely complex until they reach the semifinals.

Up to Three Clásicos Could Be Played Before the End of the Season

We could have up to three more Clásicos in the current 2024/25 season. One of them is already certain: Barça and Real Madrid will have to face each other in the Ciudad Condal for the second LaLiga match. It will be on matchday 35, in an encounter that could decide more than half the championship.

The second, which is also possible, is the Copa del Rey final in La Cartuja.Real Madrid has the tie well on track after defeating Real Sociedad at the Reale Arena in the first leg. The Madrid team will have to confirm their passage to the final round at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Meanwhile, Barça's arrival at the last Copa del Rey match is much more complex. The culé team drew 4-4 at Montjuïc against Atlético de Madrid and will have to secure a victory at the Metropolitano in the return leg. However, Hansi Flick's team already managed to defeat Diego Pablo Simeone's side before the break (2-4).

The last case, and for now the least likely, is the Champions final on May 31 in Munich. Both clubs are in the quarterfinals and could not meet until the last match. However, Real Madrid and Barça will have to pass two previous rounds in which absolutely anything can happen.
