Real Madrid doesn't rule out signings after the Club World Cup, with one condition

The only way Real Madrid could make signings after the Club World Cup ends

Álvaro Carreras was the main target that Real Madrid failed to sign before the Club World Cup. Although the transfer of the left-back will take place after the World Cup, this might not be the only operation. Real Madrid, looking ahead to next season, is interested in having another midfielder and a new striker.

With several names on its list of possible signings, these would only be possible if a player leaves. Looking to have more space in the squad and reduce the wage bill, this is the only way Real Madrid could sign. In light of this, names like Alaba, Lunin, and Rodrygo have emerged as possible departures.

For now, Real Madrid is fully determined to carry out the signing of Álvaro Carreras. The left-back, after a great season at Benfica, will join Real Madrid to be the new starter in this position.

Real Madrid's plans

Having a great transfer window, Real Madrid doesn't plan to stop its operations. After the transfers of Huijsen and Arnold, Real Madrid seeks to strengthen the positions that fell short of expectations during the season. The midfield, for example, will no longer have the presence of the legendary Kroos and Modric.

Although Real Madrid still has Dani Ceballos, the club is looking to have a playmaking midfielder. Likewise, Real Madrid aims to have a center forward with a profile similar to Joselu's.

While in attack, Gonzalo García has emerged as an option, the midfield remains a question mark. In addition, Real Madrid is also interested in signing another center-back, with Ibrahika Konaté as its most desired option.

Real Madrid's departures

Given the number of operations Real Madrid is looking to carry out, the club hopes to finalize some departures. Besides Modric and Lucas Vázquez, players like Ceballos, Lunin, Rodrygo, and Alaba could leave this summer to help Real Madrid with its plans.
