Real Madrid seeks midfielder for 2026 and he offers himself: 'I'd like to'
This footballer doesn't beat around the bush and offers himself to the white squad for the summer of 2026
It's no secret that Real Madrid's midfield, despite having great players like Bellingham, Tchouaméni, or Valverde, could be one of the areas to strengthen next summer. In this regard, there are many names that could emerge as interests for the Chamartín side, but there's one who does so directly and is also being considered by the club. "Returning to Real Madrid is a bit soon, but playing for Real Madrid is every player's dream. I'd like to come back, but I'm very happy in Germany and I want to take things step by step" are the words of Chema, a youth academy product now at Stuttgart.
His move to the Bundesliga was decided this very summer, as an opportunity to experience one of the most physically and tactically demanding leagues today. However, some saw this decision as rushed and now they might even miss the academy graduate.
Chema not thinking about returning yet
The academy graduate had shown outstanding qualities and that's why many had considered him as a reinforcement for the midfield of the same white team. However, with Ceballos's stay, who was initially a doubt to leave the squad, there wasn't a clear spot for him.

Right now, he's making significant progress with a club that can greatly enhance his qualities in an environment very different from what he experiences in his home country. He seems to appreciate this, since to return to the white team he wants to do so calmly and, above all, with something to offer the best team in the world.
Obviously, this requires very extensive and demanding work before he can even think about returning to a team whose sole purpose is to conquer the world of soccer. That's why his preparation is vital so he doesn't disappoint and can earn a spot as soon as possible.
On the club's radar
As expected, the white club knows he has the potential to return because of his qualities and his knowledge of the team, so they keep a constant eye on him. This should work in his favor and if he meets expectations, it's only a matter of time before his return to Santiago Bernabéu.
