Real Madrid makes a move following Saudi Arabia's interest in Vinícius with a great offer

The executives led by Florentino Pérez have a very clear roadmap in this 'case'

One of the sagas causing the most unrest in the Valdebebas offices in recent months is centered on one of the team's leaders and locker room figures: Vinícius. The successes accumulated by the São Gonçalo striker have meant that not only the club's major rivals in the European football elite are seeking his transfer.

In recent months, the interest of several Saudi Pro League teams in acquiring his contract has left a clear sense of agitation among the club's leadership. Especially after the events following the 2024 Ballon d'Or ceremony. Vinícius lost this personal trophy to Rodrigo Hernández, a midfielder for Manchester City.

Taking advantage of that moment, the club executives tried to make his renewal official. But the '7' verdeamarelo decided to reject such approaches, postponing discussions about his future to the final stretch of the current football season. That initial refusal to renew his current contract, which expires in summer 2027, seemed a clear sign of his preference for Saudi Arabia.

But his subsequent statements, as well as his performance, bring him considerably closer to signing the renewal. The information published by "Relevo" clearly indicates it: Real Madrid would be already working on making that contract extension a reality.

The plan continues

The digital newspaper also guarantees that Vinícius's renewal will change his contract: the Brazilian forward will receive a notable salary increase that was already planned in the roadmap. The arrival of Kylian Mbappé, with a much higher salary than his teammates, has made the club's leaders prepare a raise for Vinícius or Jude Bellingham.

Everyone at Real Madrid, including the fans, wants the Carioca player to sign the contract that will be presented to him from the Valdebebas offices. If he does, the interest from Saudi Arabia would lose much of the "strength" it currently has, especially reinforced around his current and high release clause.

The leaders led by Florentino Pérez will let Vinícius leave until summer 2027, as long as his offeror pays those 1,000 million euros. Meanwhile, they will seek to make his renewal effective, as the information from "Relevo" points out, as soon as possible. The only factor that could completely change the scenario hasn't yet occurred.

Because Real Madrid will let Vinícius leave if he states, both publicly and privately, that he wishes to leave Santiago Bernabéu locker room. Under this assumption, the transfer demanded by the verdeamarelo player would be significantly reduced... and could even fit into one of the proposals that have recently arrived from the Saudi Pro League.
