After a summer of rumors, Real Madrid's goalkeeping position is experiencing a rather calm season. Thibaut Courtois is the undisputed starter in LaLiga and the Champions League, while Andriy Lunin takes the Copa.

Following a summer market where the Ukrainian goalkeeper could have left Real Madrid, the goalkeeper seems to have accepted his role for another season. However, even though he renewed a few months ago until 2030, no one assures that Andriy Lunin will stay next season.

Kepa Arrizabalaga is showing a great level at Bournemouth, a team that is in the upper part of the Premier League standings. The goalkeeper has already managed to keep a clean sheet in 19 matches played so far.

According to the newspaper MARCA, these numbers are complemented by another relevant fact: Kepa hasn't conceded from outside the box.

Additionally, he stands out as the second-best in the entire league in terms of the percentage of long passes completed.

Madridists Have Very Fond Memories of Kepa

Kepa Arrizabalaga left Real Madrid last summer when his loan from Chelsea ended. The Basque goalkeeper arrived at Chamartín after the unfortunate injury of Thibaut Courtois, who missed almost the entire season. However, the Spanish goalkeeper didn't end up playing as much as he expected.

Now, with a possible departure of Andriy Lunin at the end of the season, the name of Kepa Arrizabalaga reappears for the white goal.
