Real Madrid's player who reminds Barça they missed out on the World Cup

His comment has not gone unnoticed and has multiple interpretations

Real Madrid is one of the best-prepared and most outstanding teams to win the Club World Cup. The revived competition, organized by FIFA, aims to bring together the best teams on the planet and determine which is the best of all. Despite that goal, it is not a competition that can include all existing clubs.

That's why some, even though they have achieved good results this season,  have been left out of the summer competition. One of the most notable is Barcelona, national treble champion during the 24/25 campaign. Its fans, in view of this success under the tactical leadership of Hansi Flick, have "protested" over its absence from the competition.

FIFA has reminded on multiple occasions of the access criteria for the Club World Cup, a coefficient that depends on victories in national competitions... as well as successes in continental tournaments like the Champions League or Europa League. In view of those, in addition to other qualifying requirements, Barcelona has been left out.

The non-participation of the culé team continues to generate some controversy, especially on the eve of Real Madrid's World Cup debut against Al-Hilal coached by Italian Simone Inzaghi. A player from the white club, in his latest conversation with the media, has made a very forceful comment.

Painful reminder

To settle all discussions regarding Barcelona and its absence from the Club World Cup, Dani Ceballos has been very direct: "not everyone can play the Club World Cup". With those words, the Andalusian '19' from Real Madrid establishes a clear difference between the merengue entity and the blaugrana squad.

Not only because of the successes achieved by both clubs in recent years: that has been one of the main parameters used by FIFA to determine which clubs participated in the World Cup. Also because of the possibility of being the champion of the first tournament held by the International Federation, a truly significant milestone that Real Madrid wants to write in its golden pages.

There is still much to do to become the first world champion, but Dani Ceballos makes it clear that not everyone has that opportunity. Barcelona is one of the most talked about, especially because of its rivalry with Real Madrid, but other clubs like Liverpool have also been left out of this tournament.

In this context, the relationship between Real Madrid and Barcelona grows a bit more distant during this "break" between seasons. The arrival of Xabi Alonso, white supporters hope, should serve to immediately respond to a campaign of total culé successes in national competitions.
