Real Madrid summit for a Serie A signing, imminent meeting with their agents
The footballer has caused a sensation this season in Italy and the club hasn't lost sight of him
In Valdebebas's offices, they have heard Xabi Alonso's requests. The Basque coach will arrive at the home bench of Santiago Bernabéu to take charge of the team before the Club World Cup, a really tight situation that he would like to solve with several quality additions. The first transfer is already official: Dean Huijsen strengthens the weakened core of the merengue defense.
Shoring up the defense is not the only concern of Real Madrid's future coach. Indeed, the Tolosa manager would have also requested the signing of a midfielder with excellent creative skills, a process that has not yet started in the board. It is not for lack of names, given the long list of potential candidates who would fit those tactical demands.

One of the footballers Real Madrid has closely followed since the start of the current season is Nico Paz. The information published by Mario Cortegana and Guillermo Rai reveals that Como 1907's '79' is a player 'monitored' by the merengue scouts, who have analyzed his performance exhaustively. They would have also explored the possibility of bringing him back to the first team.
The conditions of that move are more than favorable for Santiago Bernabéu's coffers: for just nine million euros, the Argentine attacking midfielder would return to the merengue sports discipline. Nico Paz himself seems to have his future clear according to the journalists from "The Athletic".
He has always been on the list
The sources consulted by the American outlet indicate that Nico Paz would be willing to return to Real Madrid. But he would not do it just any way: before accepting that team change, he must have the assurance that he will be a protagonist. The young midfielder doesn't want to find himself trapped in the same predicament that Endrick or Arda Güler have endured during the last two seasons.
That decision is up to Xabi Alonso: the current Bayer Leverkusen coach knows that Nico Paz has a certain preference for wearing the merengue jersey again... in exchange for being a footballer with a reasonable share of minutes from the resumption of his stage as a Real Madrid player. The retirement of Toni Kroos, as well as Luka Modric's farewell after this season, could open the space intended for Nico Paz himself.

Before making any move effective, Valdebebas's offices have planned a meeting with Nico Paz's agents. In that summit, the white board's plans for the upcoming seasons would be revealed to the Como 1907 midfielder, as well as his hypothetical role in the team. To solve that important issue, not only does Xabi Alonso's decision regarding Nico Paz intervene.
Other variables also play a role: after the ostracism he seems to have been subjected to during the last two years, Arda Güler is eager to prove himself. The environment of the Turkish '15' hopes to do so under Xabi Alonso's tactical command, but Nico Paz's possible return could 'threaten' that change of dynamic he so desires.
