Real Madrid, surprised: half of Europe is asking about Ceballos
The footballer from Utrera has several offers in the final stretch of the market
Dani Ceballos, midfielder for Real Madrid, once again finds himself at a crossroads in his career. According to AS, the Andalusian has received offers from several teams qualified for the Champions League. Although his initial intention is to stay with the white squad and earn a spot in Xabi Alonso's starting eleven, he could consider leaving.
The player is experiencing a familiar situation: he starts as one of the secondary options in Real Madrid's midfield. He has already managed to reverse his status in past seasons, such as when he regained prominence under Carlo Ancelotti.
Now, Dani Ceballos faces tough competition: Fede Valverde and Aurélien Tchouaméni are considered "undisputed" for Xabi. Meanwhile, Arda Güler has been converted to an interior midfielder, while Camavinga and Bellingham complete the core of the midfielders.

Possible departure of Dani Ceballos from Real Madrid?
If a new midfielder arrives—as the club is currently searching for—Ceballos's stay could start to become complicated. In that scenario, he would be more willing to seriously consider the offers that have emerged. The player kept flirting with Real Betis, but the Andalusian team still isn't a realistic option.
From the sporting management of Real Madrid, the message is clear: they're not going to enter "bidding wars" to sell Ceballos. If a club comes with a lucrative offer, a departure could be accepted, although it would be a notable loss. If that's not the case, Florentino Pérez won't sell Dani Ceballos or any other first-team player at a loss.
The Real Betis option seems ruled out
Meanwhile, Real Betis has always been the player's dream destination, his formative club. However, the current financial conditions make his return virtually impossible. Neither Ceballos's high salary nor the price that Real Madrid would set—around 22 million USD (20 millones)—are manageable for the verdiblanco club.

In addition, his recent contract renewal until 2027 further reinforces this difficulty, so Dani Ceballos won't play as a Betis footballer in the 25/26 season.
Meanwhile, the Betis environment acknowledges that bringing the footballer back is "more difficult than ever" in this market due to the financial conditions.
