Madrid's signing shows the diet players follow for the World Cup

Real Madrid follows a diet at the Club World Cup, and the players are clear about it

The Club World Cup is proving to be a challenge for many players at this point in the season. While others are on vacation for failing to qualify, Real Madrid players have to make an effort. Above all, they have to keep their physical shape ahead of the upcoming matches.

This has been shown by one of Real Madrid's new signings, the Spanish center-back, Dean Huijsen. The young footballer has posted a photo on his Instagram showing the diet they're following. In it, a plate with different pieces of chicken appears, which seems to have been his dinner.

He also accompanied it with the following phrase: "Mo Chiken", perhaps a joke referencing a song. It's a track that's also called "Mo Chiken" and that he used as the soundtrack for his post. It belongs to rapper BossMan Dlow and also features French Montana.

Huijsen shows the style of music he's going to play in the locker room, if his teammates let him. He also shows the diet they're following during this Club World Cup. Xabi Alonso has arrived eager to control everything, including what his players eat.

Huijsen was the main protagonist in the debut against Al Hilal

It's true that the goal for Real Madrid was scored by Gonzalo, the big surprise in Xabi's starting eleven against Al Hilal. The youth academy player also won the MVP award for the match in a surprising way. But Huijsen was also the protagonist, not just because it was his debut with Real Madrid.

The center-back put in a great performance, beyond a few mistakes that luckily didn't result in a goal for the opponent. He showed his strengths, not only defensively, but also in playing the ball out from the back. This could be very useful for Xabi Alonso and is something he wants to enhance in upcoming matches.

Huijsen will be responsible for breaking lines when the opponent tries to press high. He has the ability to do so, as he showed in the match against Al Hilal. This secures him a starting spot against Pachuca, most likely alongside Rüdiger.
