Reveal Real Madrid's big sale for this summer: 100M or nothing

Madrid continues with the sports planning for the next season and is already studying possible discards

Real Madrid remains very active in assembling the squad for the next season, despite the fact that the transfer window enabled by FIFA for the Club World Cup has not yet begun. It should be remembered that last week the club announced the incorporation of Dean Huijsen, effective June 1.

But the truth is that Huijsen will not be the only new addition to Madrid's team in the new project led by Xabi Alonso, who will take charge of the bench following the amicable and peaceful departure of Carlo Ancelotti. Florentino Pérez and his trusted core are already working on finalizing the signings of Trent Alexander-Arnold and Álvaro Carreras.

Madrid's primary objective is to strengthen its defensive line after a season excessively marked by various setbacks, in the form of injuries, that have besieged the club's plans, forcing them to face a series of unforeseen events where misfortune has been a prominent protagonist.

Of course, the new faces that the new Madrid will have make it impossible for some footballers to continue at the club. From the offices of Concha Espina, they are already working on the departures. One of the players highlighted in this regard is Rodrygo Goes, who hasn't played a match with the team for a month, specifically since the Copa final against Barça (3-2).

Offers are being heard

Xabi Alonso will have the final say regarding Rodrygo, who has a contract in force until 2028 and whose release clause amounts to 1 billion euros. The Brazilian winger could leave this summer if offers come in that, at a minimum, make Madrid earn about 100 "kilos." The player has a good reputation in the Premier League, although 'El Chiringuito de Jugones' recently stated that Atlético de Madrid could enter the bidding for his services.

According to Florian Plettenberg, a journalist from Sky Sport, Rodrygo could leave Madrid if an offer arrives that meets Madrid's parameters. The '11' has been an undisputed starter for the last two seasons, but he is having a poor campaign, especially in this final stretch, when he barely scored a goal in the last twenty matches he has played.
