Rodrygo asks for a top-tier salary to leave Real Madrid, the figure is insane

The footballer sets strict demands in case he has to leave the White team

The name Rodrygo Goes is one of the most frequently mentioned in recent weeks in the Valdebebas offices. The executives led by Florentino Pérez, in agreement with Xabi Alonso's coaching staff, understand that the best thing for everyone is for the "11" verdeamarelo to look for a new team. The offers haven't arrived officially yet.

However, there are some attempts coming from almost all the major leagues in the Old Continent. One of the most notable approaches has come from PSG, but the Valdebebas offices have been very clear: they will negotiate with any club except the rouge-et-bleu entity. That refusal, as Defensa Central has been able to confirm, is due to the icy institutional relationship that "links" both clubs.

Therefore, the only offers with real chances of securing Rodrygo Goes's contract during the summer of 2025 are in the Premier League. Up to four British squads are reportedly considering a move to sign the Osasco striker: Tottenham, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Manchester City.

Only the first of those clubs, chaired by Daniel Levy, would have been definitively left without options to make that team change happen. After all, Rodrygo is also starting to present his demands to leave Santiago Bernabéu locker room, through contacts from his entourage with his offers.

It's another difficult problem to overcome

One of the most natural and logical demands made by the South American player is to leave for a club that aims to win the Champions League season after season. That's why Tottenham, recent Europa League champion, would have been left out of the informal bidding surrounding Rodrygo Goes.

The other condition revealed by the current white footballer is the salary he would request to leave the Spanish capital. According to information published by "Fichajes.net", the Carioca winger would request wages set at twelve million euros (€12 million), identical earnings  to what he currently receives at the white squad.

It remains to be seen how the candidates who are still interested in signing him will react. Real Madrid pays those twelve million euros to Rodrygo Goes as part of a contract signed when he was a regular starter and untouchable under Carlo Ancelotti's management. Now, he has lost that privileged position over time, a trend confirmed by Xabi Alonso's decisions during the Club World Cup.

Given the situation, clubs like Liverpool or Manchester City could well refuse to offer him the twelve million euros salary he is asking for to leave Real Madrid. Those requests, inflexible for now, are another problem that adds to the demands of the white leadership: practically no one is willing to pay €100 million for Rodrygo Goes.
