Rodrygo gives the green light and the transfer could be imminent after Xabi Alonso's warning
The Brazilian footballer is getting closer to starting a new chapter in his sports career
Xabi Alonso has spoken with his footballers and has told them what role they may have during the season. One he has contacted, as could not be otherwise, is Rodrygo Goes. The Brazilian's future seems to be increasingly far from the white house.
All roads lead him to Anfield. Liverpool may be the club that ends up acquiring the services of the Madridist "11", who has always had offers in the Premier League. At first, it seemed that Arsenal would be his destination, but the Gunners have opted for other players.
However, the red team has indeed shown interest in the former Santos player. In fact, they would have already started talks with his entourage to learn about the player's financial demands. There has not been any contact between both teams yet, but it seems it may be a matter of time.
As Defensa Central has been reporting, Florentino Pérez is willing to listen to offers for this footballer, although they must be, at least, starting from €80 million. If this requirement is met, it is possible that negotiations may begin.

In the noble offices of Chamartín, they state that they are in no hurry at all. They are also not bothered to have the good Rodrygo in the squad, although he wants to enjoy minutes, especially because 2026 is a World Cup year. Carlo Ancelotti, who is the coach of the canarinha, knows him very well, but, really, he needs to play, as could not be otherwise.
A possible arrival
As of today, July 23, Real Madrid can't sign absolutely anyone due to a matter of allowed registrations. This way, a departure must occur so that there is an option to facilitate some new addition. Meanwhile, the sports management doesn't lose sight of possible opportunities that may arise.
However, in the Bernabéu offices, they insist that they have already achieved the main objective of this summer, which was to strengthen the defensive line. They have achieved this with Dean Huijsen, Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Álvaro Carreras.
