Rüdiger explodes after Real Madrid - Pachuca, FIFA activates the protocol
Antonio Rüdiger had to endure the appalling racist insults from Mexican fans
Real Madrid beat CF Pachuca (3-1) and is already the first team to qualify from Group H. With the match practically over, the game had to be stopped due to several racist comments from the Mexican fans toward Antonio Rüdiger. The decision referee Ramón Abatti made was the right one: to stop the match immediately.
From the very beginning, Rüdiger went to the referee after a controversial play in which a penalty was requested in favor of the Madrid side. All the spectators thought something very serious must've happened there, because the white center-back was much angrier than usual.

Vinícius went to separate his teammate
According to those present at the stadium, Antonio Rüdiger had received several racist insults. From the stands, part of the Mexican fans, almost at the end of the match, had offended the German defender.
In addition, Vinícius, who had already been substituted earlier, entered the field once the match was over to separate his teammate from an opponent.
Despite everything, the regrettable episode ended there and the match finished without further problems. Nevertheless, Rüdiger ended up quite angry with the attitude of some fans.
Xabi Alonso spoke about the racist insults toward Antonio Rüdiger
Xabi Alonso appeared before the media after the match against CF Pachuca. The coach, in addition to talking about the match, wanted to send a message to Rüdiger after what happened.
"We support Antonio because it's something unacceptable, he told us something after the match. If it happened, let them take the appropriate measures. They're investigating it," he explained.
Meanwhile, the coach confirmed that he ended up quite pleased with his team's work. "Today I wouldn't say we've been able to show what we've been working on these days. We've had to adapt to the context," he commented.

"The humidity today wasn't so high. It was extremely hot, but the weather conditions were a bit more favorable and we felt better," Xabi Alonso concluded.
Real Madrid is already the leader of Group H, although it will have to wait for the match between RB Salzburg and Al-Hilal.
