The salary gap between Endrick and Mastantuono: how much the 2 gems earn

The Brazilian earns around €4.4 million per season and the Argentine €3.7M, a difference of €700,000

Real Madrid has brought together two of the greatest South American talents of the moment in its squad. One has already started to show his hand. The other is about to do so.

Endrick and Franco Mastantuono represent the future of the white club, although for now, their present is not the same in terms of salary.

Endrick, more experienced and better paid

Endrick has already passed the first test and is facinghis second season at Real Madrid. In the first, he left a good impression: he played 843 minutes (843 minutos) across 37 matches, 8 of them as a starter, and scored 7 goals. At 18 years old, the Brazilian has shown that the badge doesn't weigh on him and that he can contribute even in big matches.

His current salary is around 4.4 million euros per season. He isn't among the highest paid in the locker room, but he is clearly above the young players coming from the academy or recent signings like Mastantuono.

Mastantuono starts from the bottom

Franco Mastantuono's case is different. The Argentine attacking midfielder, with an exquisite left foot, arrives in Madrid this summer from River Plate. He is 17 years old (17 años) and won't join the first team immediately, but he has already signed a professional contract with the white club.

According to various sources, his starting salary will be about 3.7 million euros per year. This figure places him among the lowest tiers of Madrid's salary scale. Only academy players who have just signed their first contract earn less.

The signing was complicated by the Argentine government

The operation for Mastantuono was also marked by politics. Javier Milei's government raised a tax rate applied to international transfers, which meant that River lost about 11 million euros in the sale. In the end, the Argentine club kept about 30 million net for the jewel of its academy.

Although both have the talent to define an era at Bernabéu, the truth is that Endrick has already started to prove it on the field. Meanwhile, Mastantuono faces the challenge of carving out a place in the team.

The salary difference between the two reflects that same difference in the stage of maturity of their careers. For now.
