After discarding options like Boca Juniors and other South American teams due to the salary issue, Sergio Ramos has ended up signing with the team from Monterrey, Mexico. In the press conference of his official presentation as a Monterrey player, Sergio Ramos revealed that he will wear '93' on his back, a number with a lot of history behind it. The former Madrid center-back himself acknowledged that it's "a tribute to Real Madrid," but also "to my career" which changed significantly after the goal in the Lisbon final.
