Striking Image after Clásico, Florentino Talking with 2 Barça during the Ceremony

The president exchanged views with Laporta and Lewandowski during the medal ceremony for the champion

The Clásico for the Spanish Supercopa left unforgettable moments both on and off the field. Barcelona decisively defeated Real Madrid (2-5), however, a curious image caught the attention of fans after the final whistle.

During the awards ceremony, cameras captured Florentino Pérez, president of Real Madrid, conversing with two Barça figures: Joan Laporta and Robert Lewandowski.

The moment occurred while Barcelona players were receiving their medals as champions. Florentino, located in the authorities' area, exchanged a few words with Laporta, his Barça counterpart, and also with the Polish forward.

The conversation seemed friendly, although the details of what was said are unknown. However, this gesture caused numerous reactions on social media, where some highlighted the sportsmanship while others expressed surprise at the interaction during such a bitter moment for Madrid.

A Clásico to forget

The match was a tough blow for Real Madrid. Despite starting with a lead thanks to a goal by Mbappé in the 5th minute, the team was outplayed in all areas by a brilliant Barça.

The 1-4 at halftime reflected the blaugrana superiority, with goals from Lamine Yamal, Lewandowski, Raphinha, and Álex Balde. In the second half, Raphinha increased the lead and, although Rodrygo narrowed the gap with a free-kick goal, Madrid couldn't capitalize on the numerical advantage after Szczęsny's expulsion.

Reactions on social media

The image of Florentino talking with Laporta and Lewandowski quickly went viral. Some users interpreted the scene as a display of sportsmanship, while others considered it out of place after such a resounding defeat.

Although the president of Madrid didn't release statements after the match, his demeanor at the ceremony suggests he maintains a cordial relationship with Barça, even in challenging times.

The Clásico not only left soccer lessons for Madrid but also gestures showing that rivalry is not at odds with respect. A scene that will give much to talk about in the coming days.
