Surprise offer and farewell to Carvajal's replacement, final call from Serie A

A surprise offer arrives, and Carvajal's replacement is now available to Serie A

For Real Madrid, having the possibility to strengthen its squad with players of great stature and for the future is one of the most important points for the board. In this regard, what seemed to be the ideal player to replace Dani Carvajal is worryingly moving away to Serie A.  According to what Defensa Central has learned, Sevilla player Juanlu Sánchez is on Napoli's radar.

The white team has been investigating the best options for the crucial positions in the squad for some time. This Spanish player was being considered as the desired signing for the right-back position in the future. This was even after the signing of Alexander-Arnold for the right flank.

However, Napoli seems willing to have this player among its ranks. This way, it could take him away from the Chamartín side. This is a decision that Florentino and his team regret because of what this player could represent in the long term.

He slips away from Madrid

Sánchez has been one of the few redeemable aspects of a Sevilla that has faced one of its darkest periods in recent years. With the team close to the relegation spots, he is a light at the end of the tunnel who, with his sale, could bring them a series of reinforcements.

Real Madrid had been following the Spanish player's progress throughout this past season. He was set to be a great reinforcement for both the present and the future. In just the last year, he played almost 2,200 yds. (2,000 min.) with the Andalusian team in 35 matches, where he contributed up to 10 goals/assists.

This way, with a value of about €12 million, he could leave Sevilla with a sum greater than this to help them improve their situation. In addition, with the signing of Arnold and Carvajal's return, the player doesn't see an immediate place in the white team to play right away.

That's the way it is

With all the above mentioned, Real Madrid can only watch how this operation develops from a distance. If, surprisingly, an opening for the signing with the capital team arises, Florentino will be able to intervene, but only in that scenario.
