Live tantrum from the Yamals over Nico Williams's contract renewal: 'We...'

A backlash has been launched against Nico for his decision to stay at Athletic and not sign for Barça

Since Barcelona isn't in the Club World Cup, Barcelona is trying to be in the spotlight through other surprising means. For days, they did so with the signing of Nico Williams, which they claimed was already finalized. However, they made a fool of themselves because the Spanish international ended up renewing his contract with Athletic.

After that failure, it seems they don't want to miss the chance to keep being the focus. First, it was Lamine Yamal's father, in a livestream he shared on his social media. In it, he sent several direct messages after Nico Williams's contract renewal.

"We'll keep watching Lamine and others won't even be able to enjoy him, don't worry, we've got everything done. Lamine is ours" he said while answering followers' questions. "This year Barça are going to hurt, we're going to give it our all, don't be afraid of anything or anyone" he continued.

These are surprising words from someone who has always declared himself a Real Madrid supporter. In fact, among Barcelona fans, they looked at him with suspicion because of his photos with a scarf at Bernabéu. Now he's the one making "jabs" at another footballer for not wanting to go to Barça.

Lamine Yamal also attacks his national team teammate

Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams have always shown they have a very good relationship. During Spanish national team training camps, they don't separate and seem to have a great friendship. That's why the attack from the Barça footballer on the Athletic player after his decision is surprising.

The Barça player has posted on his Instagram stories

"I've achieved what's mine and I haven't asked anyone, I haven't even had to humiliate myself. I've helped my own" can be read in the part of the lyrics Lamine shared. Everyone sees it as a clear "jab" at Nico Williams after he decided to stay at Athletic.
