The 3 possible Real Madrid sales before the transfer window closes

The executives led by Florentino Pérez will stay alert until dawn

Real Madrid's activity in the transfer market has decreased considerably after the signing of Álvaro Carreras. The signing of the left-back would have marked the end of arrivals to Santiago Bernabéu locker room: the squad is closed, sources from Valdebebas insist.

However, there is still room, in the last hours of the 2025 summer transfer window, to confirm the departure of up to three players. These footballers currently occupy a relatively fragile position in the first team, without much prominence in the tactical schemes developed by Xabi Alonso.

It's not surprising that the Andalusian "19" is a candidate to leave Santiago Bernabéu locker room at the last minute. As early as the beginning of last week, his hypothetical move to Olympique de Marseille was put forward, a deal the midfielder paused to try to get closer to Real Betis.

The Verdiblanco side never officially made a move for the Sevillian player, a refusal that coincided with the withdrawal of the French bosses from negotiations. Real Madrid will be alert to any club willing to pay €15 million for the Spanish midfielder.

The situation the French left-back is in is very complicated to manage. Relegated to third place in his position, still recovering from an injury from last April, the French "23" is not in Xabi Alonso's plans for now. It remains to be seen what role the French defender will receive: Fran García's performance during the Club World Cup has also completely surpassed him.

Given these circumstances, Real Madrid would work to move the player out as soon as possible... because he has a contract until mid-2028. With a market value of €14 million, the club's bosses would accept any offer they consider fair for the transfer as long as they have the player's complicity.

Rodrygo Goes

Without a doubt, the most repeated saga throughout the summer. The final stretch of Rodrygo's 24/25 season was one to forget: he barely played due to his injury. Xabi Alonso's arrival hasn't placed him among the candidates to be a regular starter, given his limited impact in the Club World Cup and his substitute appearances in La Liga.

The strong interest that seemed to come from the Premier League has gradually evaporated, but clubs like Manchester City could make a last effort to approach the player. From the Valdebebas offices, in any case, they are very clear: Rodrygo's transfer, which they don't intend to negotiate, is set at €100 million.
