The 3 Real Madrid Players Who Ended Up Injured Against Villarreal
Several footballers complained about the few hours of rest after the match at La Cerámica
The Frenchman Kylian Mbappé, author of the double that led Real Madrid to defeat Villarreal (2-1) this Saturday, once again saved the white team.
Kylian Mbappé admitted that they found it "difficult" to play due to the accumulated fatigue after Wednesday's match against Atlético de Madrid. Real Madrid had less than 72 hours of rest between matches, something the white team openly criticized.

What Did Kylian Mbappé Say?
"A very important and very difficult match because Villarreal is a team that plays well and is high up in the league. It was very difficult but we had the personality and desire to play and win. We fought until the end and returned with the three points", declared the Real Madrid forward.
"Everyone saw the match against Atlético. (...) Already in the warm-up, it was seen, today was difficult due to fatigue, but we have to respect the badge and fight until the end. Today we gave everything we have and it was enough to win", he explained.
"Goals are important, but they are just numbers. If I score more goals than Cristiano or Ronaldo Nazario, it doesn't mean I'm greater. The important thing is to help win titles; it's only worth scoring goals if we win the league, the Champions, and the Cup", added the Frenchman.
Did Real Madrid Suffer From Fatigue?
After the match, several Real Madrid footballers ended up lying on the field. The less than 72 hours of rest were noticeable in the final minutes when the legs felt even heavier. In fact, several players ended up exhausted.
Once the clash at La Cerámica concluded, Mario Cortegana, a journalist at 'The Athletic', reported the players who ended up with discomfort.
"Tchouaméni, Fran García (with the doctors), Camavinga, and Bellingham on the field after the match ended. The team is exhausted", published Mario Cortegana on 'X'.
Real Madrid won't have a match midweek and next weekend due to the break, but many players will go with their national teams. In fact, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Eduardo Camavinga, and Jude Bellingham will go with France and England respectively. Meanwhile, Fran García will take care of his issues at Valdebebas.
