Club World Cup Numbers: This is the maximum amount Real Madrid will earn
Real Madrid can earn up to 145 million euros if they are crowned Club World Cup champions
The Club World Cup changes format in 2025. FIFA will organize a completely new edition with 32 teams. The tournament will be held in the United States between June 15 and July 13.
It will be the first time it is held with this model. It comes with a major novelty: the financial prizes. FIFA will distribute a total of 929 million euros among the participating clubs.
A billion-dollar distribution
Of that total amount, 500 million will be given as a fixed amount. The rest will be distributed in variables, according to each team's performance. European clubs will take the largest share: 284 million euros.
Real Madrid, as European champion, will start with an initial guaranteed amount of 35 million euros. Meanwhile, Atlético de Madrid—another of the qualifiers—will have 20 million fixed.

Prizes for advancing rounds
The new tournament format has a structure similar to the World Cup for national teams. There will be a group stage and knockout rounds.
Each phase surpassed has an assigned extra prize. These are the amounts for advancing:
- Round of 16: 7 million euros
- Quarterfinals: 12 million euros
- Semifinals: 20 million euros
- Final: 28 million euros
- Champion: 37 million euros
In total, a club that reaches the top can take an astronomical figure.
Up to 145 million for the champion
If Real Madrid manages to lift the title, the earnings would be historic. Adding the fixed amount (35M) plus the amounts for each phase surpassed, the total would reach 145 million euros.
A record amount in a single competition. For many clubs, it represents more than half of their annual budget.

The new Club World Cup will thus become a very important event, not only for sporting prestige but also for its economic impact. Especially for European teams like Real Madrid, which start as favorites.
FIFA is betting big on this new tournament. The United States will be the host country, and global coverage is expected. Real Madrid is already preparing for this challenge, knowing that besides the title, there is a huge reward at stake.
