They announce a massive offer for Rodri: Real Madrid goes all out
A website specialized in transfers states that the white club will offer Rodrygo and Camavinga for the midfielder
At Real Madrid, they're clear about it: Rodri Hernández is the main target for this summer. Manchester City's midfielder is highly regarded by both Florentino Pérez and Xabi Alonso, who considers him the ideal player to lead his new project in midfield, and they're sparing no effort.
According to Defensa Central, the club has already submitted a truly powerful proposal to the English side: Camavinga, Rodrygo, and €40 million. Yes, just as it sounds. It's an offer you don't see every day and, of course, it doesn't go unnoticed.
Xabi wants Rodri no matter what
Xabi Alonso is very clear about the type of midfielder he wants for his Real Madrid, and Rodri fits perfectly. He's a player with authority, who commands with and without the ball, who knows how to pace the game, organize, and, above all, keep the team together when tough moments arrive. There aren't many like him in European soccer.
The problem is that Pep Guardiola doesn't want to lose him either. Rodri is untouchable for the Catalan coach, an essential piece in his system for several seasons now. However, Madrid's offer is not just any offer.
Camavinga is one of the most promising players in European soccer, and Rodrygo, despite his inconsistent season, still has a lot of market value and the quality to make a difference. Adding another €40 million ($43.6 million) to the table makes the operation very serious.

A risky but ambitious move
From Bernabéu's offices, they know that losing Camavinga and Rodrygo is painful. Two young players with a lot of future ahead and who have been important in recent years, but they believe Rodri can mark a turning point.
With Kroos already gone, and with Modric signing for Milan, a leader is needed in the center of the field. Neither Tchouaméni nor Valverde cover that profile with the same naturalness.

Madrid wants to close the deal as soon as possible. They don't want to drag the matter out until the end of the transfer window. If City says yes, Rodri will wear white.
If not, they'll have to look for another plan, but what's clear is that at Valdebebas, they've gone all out. Because when Madrid is serious, it's serious.
