They reveal Luis de la Fuente's role in Dean Huijsen's signing

The Spanish coach was key in ensuring the center-back ended up wearing white

One of the most important signings of the summer has been Dean Huijsen for Real Madrid. The Spanish center-back, only 20 years old, is destined to be one of the best in the world in his position. At the white club, they are delighted with the way he plays and, in addition, they highlight his personality and leadership skills.

It's no wonder, since in less than a year he has managed to convey a great deal of confidence and hasn't needed to go through an adaptation process. His level has been remarkable. Best of all, he has an entire career ahead of him that, barring any surprises, he will develop in the capital of Spain. Xabi Alonso was one of those who pushed hardest for this deal and had enough persuasive power for Florentino Pérez to pay €60 million, the amount Bournemouth demanded.

Furthermore, according to various media outlets, Luis de la Fuente, the Spanish national team coach, also played a key role in this story. It seems he recommended that Huijsen sign for Real Madrid instead of Barça, since his style is ideal for the merengue side. If this is true, it's clear that he is absolutely right.

Delighted with him

The sporting management of the white club is delighted with everything Huijsen is contributing. They even emphasize that he is very professional and completes every training session at the highest level. After all, these kinds of factors are also decisive in understanding the performance of any elite athlete.

Meanwhile, he is living a true dream and knows this is the most important stage of his sporting career. He doesn't want to let this opportunity slip away, which he has fully earned. So far, without a doubt, he is making the most of it.

In the Valdebebas offices, some compare him to Raphael Varane, who also arrived very young and ended up becoming a legend. Even so, it seems Huijsen's personality is much greater than that of the Frenchman.
