This forward will become available after the World Cup; Florentino doesn't want to know anything about it
With the Club World Cup getting closer to starting, the participating clubs are looking to strengthen their respective squads. Real Madrid, the clear favorite to win this tournament, hasn't been the exception after the transfers they've managed to complete. Especially reinforcing their defense, Real Madrid is looking to strengthen more positions ahead of the Club World Cup.
One of the positions they had the chance to reinforce was the attack. This is because Nigeria's coach, Eric Chelle, opened the door for Vitor Osimhen to leave. The current Galatasaray forward must return to Napoli after his loan and a season where he never stopped scoring goals, being the star of the Turkish team.

While his signing would greatly strengthen Real Madrid's attack, it would come at a rather high price. Moreover, Florentino Pérez knows perfectly well that Di Laurentiis, Napoli's president, is a very tough negotiator whom, for now, he doesn't want to deal with.
Florentino Pérez's rejection
At 26 years old, Viator Osimhen is a very talented center forward and, above all, lethal in front of goal. Playing 3,176 min. (3,176 minutes) this season, these were enough for Osimhen to score 37 goals and provide 8 assists. These numbers clearly show the great talent Osimhen still has as a forward.
While Osimhen has to return to Napoli, where he has a contract until 2027, it isn't expected that the player will stay at the club. The tense relationship he keeps with Di Laurentiis is the reason why, for this summer transfer window, his departure is expected.

Although Real Madrid doesn't usually rule out players of Osimhen's caliber, Florentino Pérez's intentions are very clear. Despite Osimhen's talent, his signing would be an extremely expensive, problematic, and slow operation to complete.
The forward who won't be at the Club World Cup
With Osimhen's signing not being considered in Valdebebas, the Nigerian forward will have to choose another destination to leave Napoli. Even though there's no doubt Osimhen will find a destination, the player won't be able to play in the important Club World Cup.
