Tuchel calls Bellingham and apologizes after calling him 'Repulsive'
After his statements about Jude, he wanted to backtrack and justify himself
The arrival of Thomas Tuchel as the new England manager hasn't calmed things down at all. After losing the Euro Cup final to Spain, they sought a change of scenery. However, the image they've projected still raises doubts even though the German has taken charge.
Some of his comments haven't been very fortunate, especially regarding Bellingham. Months ago, he commented on some statements that didn't sit well with the Madridist. Tuchel went so far as to surprisingly claim that "my mother finds Bellingham's attitude repulsive."

He didn't stop there; he continued to double down on a comment that was out of place for the England manager. "Sometimes you see the anger, the hunger, and the passion, and it comes out in a way that can be a bit repulsive," he added. Because of this, he has now wanted to backtrack and apologize to Jude.
The German coach has justified himself by saying that he used that word in his "second language" and made a mistake. He also points out that it was after losing and "without much sleep." He has also wanted to point out that "I got in touch with him right away, of course," and apologized to him.
Tuchel seeks to settle the controversy after his comments about Bellingham
It's clear that a manager can never refer to one of its players in those terms. It seems that Tuchel himself sees it that way, as he admits that "I used this word unintentionally. I had no intention, there was no message, there was no hidden intention."

In addition, the England manager adds that "I fully understand that it's my responsibility to have created these headlines." He has wanted to apologize: "I'm sorry for the upset and for the headlines I've created. I have enough experience, I should've known and done better."
Right now, Bellingham is injured, so he won't be present at the next international break. We'll have to wait for the following one to see what the atmosphere is like between the two after those statements. Tuchel has gone after the best English player in recent seasons, at a time when England isn't going through a good moment.
