180º turn with Ceballos's and Camavinga's future: They know where they're going to play this year
Xabi Alonso has solved the mystery of both midfielders' future
Xabi Alonso keeps accommodating first-team footballers in his tactical schemes and plans for next season. The white club, under the alert technical direction of the coach from Tolosa, must also decide regarding the future of some players whose prominence during the Club World Cup has been reduced.
Essentially, the names of Dani Ceballos and Eduardo Camavinga are increasingly common in those discussions. The Andalusian midfielder did get some minutes in that competition organized by FIFA in the United States, but he was pushed down the substitution order by Luka Modric. Camavinga, meanwhile, was focused on regaining competitive rhythm in training sessions.

That's why it's still unknown what decision Xabi Alonso has to make regarding both players. The information published in Cadena SER, however, offers the perspective of Madrid's coaching staff on the Spanish "19" and the French stopper. Antón Meana has made it clear that Real Madrid spoke with Ceballos about the new coach's plans.
"They don't want to sell him, Xabi Alonso doesn't want him to leave, so he stays in the squad", warns the veteran journalist. "The summer is long, there are no non-transferable players except for the untouchables", recalls Antón Meana, so "if someone puts an offer on the table, it can be considered".

In any case, "the message to Ceballos from the club is that he stays". Not only because of Xabi Alonso's decision: the coach from Tolosa has decided that he'll count on the Sevillian midfielder for the 25/26 season due to his footballing virtues. In fact, the white bosses have tried to sign a player with a similar profile to Dani Ceballos without success.
That would be another reason, points out Antón Meana, to prevent the departure of the Spanish midfielder in the remainder of the 2025 summer transfer window. Eduardo Camavinga's future, reveals the Cadena SER journalist, would be in a similar situation... after keeping some conversations with "the direct circle" of the French footballer.

The closest people to Real Madrid's "6" make it clear that "he's not going to leave either. Not because he was on the way out, but because there were international market rumors pointing to possible Premier League offers", approaches that were firmly rejected.
"It's impossible for the player to leave Madrid this summer," Antón Meana states about Eduardo Camavinga's near future. Xabi Alonso keeps working to find the ideal spot for the French stopper, given that Aurélien Tchouaméni seems untouchable in that position that his compatriot also wants.
