The shocking comment by Fernando Morientes that Xabi Alonso may take into account for Real Madrid
One of the most well-known legends of Real Madrid is former striker Fernando Morientes. Having won 2 Champions League titles with the team, Morientes is an expert in his position. He showed this with his words about Gonzalo and Endrick: “...Gonzalo has completely different characteristics... That, for the coach, is extremely valuable.”

Gonzalo García has been training in Real Madrid's youth categories since 2014. Starting in the Youth Soccer Base, Gonzalo managed to move up to Castilla in 2023. An outstanding achievement for someone who would become the team's top scorer; under Raúl González Blanco's orders, Gonzalo broke several scoring records.
At 21 years old, Gonzalo is a more experienced player than Endrick. The Brazilian star arrived at Real Madrid last summer after turning 18. Although he didn't get much playing time, Endrick was able to show his value in every match he played.
Although Endrick has shown his lethality on several occasions, Morientes was clear with his words. Gonzalo has proven to be a much more complete player than Endrick. His commitment to pressing the opponent, for instance, is highly appreciated by Xabi.
