The unexpected reaction of Juanma Castaño to the latest Realmadrid TV video
The journalist points out that there is a difference of opinion between players such as Carvajal or Tchouameni and the club's TV channel
The refereeing debate continues to shape Real Madrid's current events. This time, a video from Real Madrid TV has sparked controversy. The club's channel aired a report that harshly criticized the referees' decisions in the opening matchdays of LaLiga.
What stands out is that this content did not match what some of the Madrid players expressed. Both Aurélien Tchouaméni and Dani Carvajal offered a perspective closer to the referee's in the most debated play: the disallowed goal by Arda Güler against Mallorca.
An unexpected clash of opinions
Juanma Castaño, director of El Partidazo de COPE, expressed his surprise when analyzing the video. “Real Madrid's players have given the same interpretation as the referee,” he stated during the program.

The broadcaster wanted to make it clear that there is an obvious contradiction between what the club's official channel broadcasts and what some of the footballers who were on the field think.
To fuel the debate, the journalist gave the floor to his team of panelists.
Siro López was the first to share his opinion: “It's not an immediate play. There's a rebound and that's already a second play.” His view, although critical of the refereeing decision, also did not fully align with the more combative stance of Real Madrid TV.
Dani Senabre added an important nuance: “Madrid is being more papist than the Pope. The players say one thing and the channel another. I don't think that's going to change.”
Elías Israel wraps up the debate
Journalist Elías Israel stepped in to close the discussion. His view was clear: “I don't think these videos are useful at all. Referees will keep making mistakes, as always, they're not going to change because of what a television channel says.”

The situation reflects a clash of narratives within the Madridist environment itself. While the official channel keeps its critical stance toward referees and their mistakes, part of the squad prefers to show a more moderate position and accept the decisions on the field.
The debate is on, with the international break in the background, the controversy is expected to continue in the coming weeks.
