Vallejo Would Already Have His Exit from Real Madrid Ready: He Will Stay in LaLiga

The defender won't continue at Real Madrid, but he finds a place in Spain.

On June 30, Jesús Vallejo's contract with Real Madrid ends, and he will not renew. It is one of the decisions that have been made by the team for some time. Ancelotti doesn't count on him, as he has shown by choosing Tchouaméni and Asencio over him.

The central defender from Aragón has only played a few minutes against Alavés, in a match where he was marked. The Merengues had it solved and ended up suffering more than expected at Bernabéu. Since then, we haven't seen him on the field, not even in the Copa.

That's why he is now looking for a new destination, aiming to leave behind injuries and various problems he has suffered. He wants to focus on starting a new project where he has more continuity. And it seems he might have found it not too far away as he will stay in LaLiga.

He already has experience in England and Germany after previous loans. But where he has spent the most years is in Spain, between Madrid, Zaragoza, and Granada. To that list, he could add Mallorca, which is looking for reinforcements for its defense in the market.

Real Madrid Doesn't Count on Vallejo but Is Looking for Central Defenders in the Market

Vallejo's departure is certain in the offices, with Mallorca best positioned to sign him. In fact, some sources indicate that they have already initiated contact with the player. Meanwhile, Real Madrid is also looking for central defenders in the market for this upcoming summer.

Raúl Asencio is already part of the first team by full right and will occupy the space left by Nacho. But even so, they want another reinforcement also thinking about the long term. A player who can replace Rüdiger and Alaba, who are already over 30 years old and approaching retirement.

Saliba, Lukeba, or Dean Huijsen seem to be the three alternatives that currently have the most options. The first two may be too expensive and will require a considerable financial effort. The second could be more affordable and has a lot of potential ahead.
