Valverde reveals if he'll be able to play against Osasuna after his injury
The Uruguayan is suffering from muscle overload and will miss the friendly against Tirol
Real Madrid announced its squad list for the friendly match against Tirol this Monday with a new development. Fede Valverde was left out of the list due to a muscle overload that sidelined him. This is a new injury for the midfield, which is already quite weakened.
Everything seemed to indicate that it was a minor injury and that his absence was more about taking precautions. However, he himself has confirmed how he is feeling and how long he will be out. This is especially important with next Tuesday and the league debut against Osasuna at Bernabéu in mind.

It was outside Valdebebas, where Fede stopped to sign autographs and was caught on camera by El Chiringuito. There, he was asked how he was feeling and whether he would be available for the match against Osasuna. "Everything's fine, I'll definitely be there," the Uruguayan replied, reassuring everyone.
He confirms what we suspected, that his injury isn't serious and he'll be back soon. This is mainly because his absence in Austria is due to it being a preseason friendly. There was no need to push himself at this stage, especially in a preparation match.
Xabi Alonso's problems are piling up
Real Madrid will play against Tirol this Tuesday with several important absences, especially in midfield. Xabi Alonso can only count on 3 first-team players for that area of the field. Tchouaméni, Arda Güler, and Ceballos are the ones available.

Fede Valverde, with his muscle overload, joined Camavinga, who was injured over the weekend with an ankle sprain. In the Frenchman's case, it does seem unlikely that he will be available against Osasuna. However, the Uruguayan's return will allow the coach to breathe a little easier.
They must also add Bellingham, who underwent shoulder surgery and still has many weeks ahead before his return. That leaves the rotation very depleted with the league opener next Tuesday in mind. However, in the friendly against Tirol, Xabi could turn to Thiago Pitarch, a youth academy gem he's testing and closely monitoring.
