Vini, after halting his contract renewal, announces where he'll play next season: 'Arabia'
The future of the Brazilian striker remains a mystery for many
The saga created around Vinícius Jr., given his stalled contract renewal, is still ongoing. The top executives led by Florentino Pérez have tried multiple approaches in the months prior to the Club World Cup to announce that contract extension right after the trip to the United States.
It hasn't been possible. The verdeamarelo footballer's entourage, as well as the "7" for Madrid, insist on a series of prerogatives that Madrid's top executives aren't going to meet. Vinícius's renewal won't happen at any price, especially if the Madrid striker requests to earn the same salary as Kylian Mbappé while performing less than the French "9" this season.

The differences between the limits set by Real Madrid and the proposals sent by those closest to Vinícius, however, don't change his immediate future at all. In fact, quite the opposite: the Brazilian striker has made it clear that he wants to stay at Real Madrid... at least until the summer of 2027, when his contract ends, which the club's executives want to extend as soon as possible.
All the offers who've approached Vinícius during these weeks, including the most important moments for his contract renewal negotiations, haven't made acceptable offers. As things stand, the São Gonçalo striker isn't renewing but is staying in Santiago Bernabéu locker room.
Step by step
Therefore, Real Madrid has those two seasons to convince and negotiate with Vinícius for his contract extension. Possibly until 2030, when he'll be 30 years old (30 años)... and the executives led by Florentino Pérez could place him in the annual renewal zone as they've done with all the players who came before him.
One of the most persistent offers in the "Vinícius case", despite the ongoing talks for his renewal, is Saudi Arabia. The offers sent from the Saudi Pro League are truly an event that "threatens" to undo the precarious balance on which Vinícius's continuity rests.

Nothing could be further from the truth. Not even the boldest approach to date, the recent offer set at €350 million (350 millones de euros) that was withdrawn after a few days, is enough to provoke any change. Although Vinícius seems unwilling to renew under the conditions proposed by the Valdebebas offices, his bond with Real Madrid remains intact.
That's why there's still room for maneuver, according to the Valdebebas offices, to reach an agreement with the South American footballer. Especially if he shows his rejection so actively of leaving Santiago Bernabéu locker room, at least while he still has some chance of getting his desired salary.
