Vinícius and Real Madrid Respond to Rumors of His Departure, Decision Made

The  "Vinícius Case"  continues to bring new developments regarding the future of both the Brazilian player and Real Madrid. The entity presided over by Florentino Pérez, despite the rumors sparked about possible offers from Saudi Arabia, has not changed its position since everything began in August. Any club wishing to secure the services of the "7" verdeamarelo before the summer of 2027 will have to pay his release clause.

Those 1 billion euros are a figure that the Saudi Pro League would like to invest in the forward from São Gonçalo, but not in his signing from the Spanish capital. The information revealed by MARCA points to a salary of 200 million euros per season if Vinícius says "yes" to the approaches from that country.

Although the doubts about Vinícius's future at Madrid have grown considerably in recent weeks, "Relevo" provides a completely different version. Contradicting the versions offered by "El Chiringuito de Jugones" and by Mario Cortegana, the player and the white club "are willing to complete the renewal".

This  digital newspaper, despite its optimistic statement regarding these negotiations, reminds that "there is still no agreement" that could lead to an official announcement. The positions of both parties in the negotiations to extend Vinícius's contract beyond its current limit are very clear. The firm stance regarding the obligation of his release clause concerning his departure, according to "Relevo", would not be the only barrier Vinícius would have to face.

No Changes Expected

From the footballer's camp, they know firsthand "that Florentino Pérez will put the club ahead of the player" as it already happened in the renewal negotiations of other stars. It happened with big names like Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos... and everything points to the "case" of Vinícius unfolding in a similar, if not identical, manner.

The "immobility" of the executives led by Florentino Pérez will make the white leadership present several renewal offers, reaching a maximum cap on economic matters. A rejection of these proposals would imply that Vinícius doesn't wish to renew with the white club, triggering several simultaneous processes. One of them would be the search for his replacement in the elite European soccer transfer market.

Likewise, all conversations would be closed about a future renewal of the São Gonçalo striker. That  important methodology applied from the Valdebebas offices is used not only in the extension of contracts for players already present in Santiago Bernabéu stadium locker room. Free agent signings, like Alphonso Davies or Alexander-Arnold, are also governed by that very rigid roadmap.

This new twist in the "Vinícius Case" throws even more uncertainty regarding the Brazilian footballer's future. Real Madrid aims to secure his renewal by the summer of 2025, placing a contract that ends in mid-2030 and definitively warding off the multimillion-dollar offers from Saudi Arabia.
