Vinícius Listens to Arabia's Offer, His Future Has Taken a Turn and There's a Key Date

Vinícius will travel with Real Madrid to Saudi Arabia to play the Spanish Supercopa. However, the Competition Committee will first have to announce if the player can participate in the tournament after what happened at Mestalla.

If it's four games, Vinícius won't be able to play the Supercopa. But if it's two, he will be able to because he would serve them in the League. On the other hand, Madrid has already filed appeals to have the red card removed, as they believe there was prior provocation.

Vinícius, who will likely end up playing the tournament, will travel to a country whose soccer league already attempted to transfer him in the past. Last summer, there was a lot of talk about that interest. Initially, there was nothing official between Saudi Arabia and Madrid, but there were indeed contacts with his agents.

Saudi Arabia knocked on Vinícius's door

In Saudi Arabia, they were willing to offer 500 millions to Real Madrid for him. Not only that, but they also put a five-year contract on the table for Vinícius. Additionally, the Brazilian could earn around one billion euros if he fulfillled the five years agreed upon in the contract.

On the other hand, Vinícius would be the icon of Saudi Arabia's bid for the 2034 World Cup, which would bring even more income.

Real Madrid rejected the offer, but...

Vinícius conveyed that proposal to Real Madrid, but nothing more since his idea was to stay at the white club. Florentino Pérez is very clear that the figure to let him go is his clause: one billion euros.

The story had ended like that, but it wasn't over because in Saudi Arabia they haven't forgotten about Vinícius. As already mentioned, the player's agents and Saudi Arabia had a phone conversation in early December. However, they will try to sign him again in the summer of 2025.
