Vini's sacrifice for Haaland: Rafaela Pimenta shows Florentino the way
The Brazilian striker could be the one chosen to make way for the Norwegian center forward soon
The first team squad of Real Madrid is practically complete. The executives led by Florentino Pérez are still working, even though the transfer window is closed, already thinking about the additions for the next summer transfer market. One of the signings that could be more prominent than ever is Erling Haaland.
Xabi Alonso hasn't requested the addition of a striker, given the problems he has establishing rotations with the current composition of his overcrowded group of strikers. However, signing the Norwegian striker is a move that the club's leadership has been exploring since 2021.

Likewise, everything suggests that the Tolosa coach wouldn't raise any complaints at the prospect of adding one of the two most "desired" attacking players by the elite. The other is already in Santiago Bernabéu locker room: Kylian Mbappé. Despite those hypothetical approaches from the Spanish capital, signing Erling Haaland isn't an easy task.
According to what we have learned at Defensa Central, the Madrid sporting management would be considering various options to get closer to the extremely high transfer fee that Manchester City would request for its star. The deal could be around €300 million, which would be the most expensive signing in history ahead of Neymar's €222 million.

To add large amounts of cash to Santiago Bernabéu coffers, achieving a considerable "boost" in that approach to Erling Haaland, one of the solutions is to sell. The departure of one of the best footballers in the club's squad seems like a certainly reasonable idea... considering the possibility of signing the sky blue "9" in exchange.
The chosen footballer would be none other than Vinícius Jr. The departure of the current verdeamarelo "7" from Real Madrid would make some sense for several reasons: the first is the change of positions if Haaland finally arrives in the Spanish capital. Xabi Alonso wouldn't place Mbappé or Haaland at the tip of the attack as much: the Norwegian performs better alone in that position.

In this scenario, the Bondy striker would have to take the left flank, definitively taking the spot from a Vinícius whose performance, for less than a year now, has been quite irregular. Nevertheless, he still retains some market value, causing other clubs from the European football elite and Saudi Arabia to make multi-million offers to secure his signing.
The money obtained from the sale of Vinícius would pave the way for the signing of Erling Haaland. However, the executives led by Florentino Pérez would also have to convince the player and his demanding entourage about this team change. After all, the conditions of the Nordic center forward at the Etihad Stadium, both financial and football-related, are practically unbeatable.
