What time does Real Madrid play today in the Club World Cup, where to watch vs Al-Hilal
Madrid begins its journey in the 'new' World Cup against Saudi Al-Hilal with doubts about Mbappé's place in the starting line-up
Real Madrid will start its journey in the Club World Cup this Wednesday (9:00 p.m. Spanish time) against Al-Hilal from Saudi Arabia in a match that will take place at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami. This will be the first match the white team will play with Xabi Alonso on the bench after he was introduced three weeks ago as the team's manager.
"I've felt that the players are eager after closing a chapter. There are new faces and the moment is good for everyone. Now I can say a lot, but tomorrow 'rock and roll' begins, the moment of truth," Alonso himself said during Tuesday's press conference ahead of the match.

Madrid could start without Kylian Mbappé, who might not even be included in the squad. The French forward didn't train this Thursday due to a fever, and the club still considers him a serious doubt. The '9' is coming off an unstoppable streak, especially after winning the Golden Boot and the Pichichi Trophy.
"He was feeling a bit better today, but not well enough. It's very hot and it was better for him not to go out and train. We're going to wait for him until the last moment and tomorrow morning we'll decide," Xabi said about Mbappé, who could be replaced by Rodrygo. Arda Güler could play in midfield.
Second match against Al-Hilal
Madrid will begin its journey in the World Cup against a rival now coached by Simone Inzaghi, who admitted in a press conference that the whites are "the best team in the world," and among its ranks, we can find footballers like Bono, Milinković-Savić, Renan Lodi, Rúben Neves, and Joao Cancelo.
It should be remembered that this will be the second time Madrid and Al-Hilal face each other. The Merengues already came out on top the last time, in 2022, when they beat the Saudis (5-3) in the World Cup final—then, with a different format—played in Rabat.
