When and What Time Do Real Madrid Play Against Alavés in Vitoria

Madrid Visits Mendizorroza to Rejoin the League Against an Alavés Fighting for Survival

Real Madrid will play on Sunday at 4:15 p.m. in Matchday 31 of La Liga at Mendizorroza against Deportivo Alavés. The merengue team seeks to regain good feelings after losing last week at Bernabéu against Valencia (1-2) and floundering this Tuesday against Arsenal at the Emirates (3-0).

Madrid can become the second team in the entire history of the competition to win in five consecutive visits against an Alavés that, with 30 points, has only one more mark than Las Palmas, which is the team closing the relegation to the Second Division.

"Each defeat brings difficult moments, you have to think about how to turn it around and focus on what's coming. Fortunately, in soccer, you always have the opportunity to come back and play a good game. The team has trained very well these two days and is focused on winning the match," said Carlo Ancelotti this Saturday in the pre-match press conference.

Ancelotti himself, who announced Dani Ceballos's return to the squad a month and a half after his muscle injury, could opt for several rotations, keeping in mind the physical condition of some of his footballers (Antonio Rüdiger, Rodrygo, and even Luka Modric, who has recently been a starter) and also the Champions League quarter-final return match with Arsenal (Wednesday 16, 9 p.m.).

Thibaut Courtois will indeed be there, whose work was crucial against Arsenal despite the heavy result, and he will add his second consecutive start after the overload he suffered with Belgium, which forced him to miss several matches.
