Why Real Madrid Doesn't Want Kimmich Despite the Rumors, There are 2 Reasons

Kimmich's transfer isn't viable for Real Madrid, and there are 2 essential reasons for this

One of the players who has been unexpectedly making headlines in recent weeks is the German Joshua Kimmich. This Bayern Munich player has established himself as one of the essential pillars of the German club. His arrival at the white team, at 29 years old, could represent a real bomb as a direct rival in Europe.

However, it seems that from media outlets like OKdiario, things are not at all clear regarding this player's transfer. In fact, it is stated that Real Madrid hasn't really been interested in the German player. This is for two essential reasons, which would be his age and the transfer of Alexander-Arnold.

These two factors are essential for the board's final decision not to be interested in this star player. Therefore, the rumors about his possible arrival at the white team are nothing more than market smoke.

There is no interest in Kimmich

This player, since his arrival at the Bavarian team, has become one of the most important players in his position.  Starting as a winger and later changed to a pivot, he is one of the great references in the midfield.

His contract ends in the summer of 2025, so he could arrive completely free to any team. While Real Madrid is one of the major teams in the player's orbit, it seems the club isn't even interested. This is due to the two previously mentioned reasons, which are vital for the board.

This season, he was able to play more than 2,600 minutes in 29 matches with nine goal contributions. These are not negligible numbers, but they don't seem to fit the policy of what Madrid is looking for. Therefore, his signing would be practically ruled out, and right now the focus would be on other players.

For now, it won't happen

Unless there is a completely radical change of plans by the board, this signing will not end up happening. A decision that for many could be controversial due to the need in the midfield. However, with such a clear idea, it is necessary to try to give continuity to it.
